So what does this mean? A set of off the self stock replacement forged 10.6:1 15F pistons in a 12F motor with no other changes will set the stage for a nice cost effective boosted motor.
I have a set of stock 15f compression forged mtcs waiting on you if you want them.

Looking at the Haltech Elite 750

The Elite 550 would be enough but no data longing like the 750.
The data logging is worth the extra $350 to me.

I know a few people running halltechs on ultras with good luck. I ran a megasquirt 3 with ms3x specifically for the customization options and the onboard logging. I am also planning on testing a microsquirt with an external daq box.

Ill post pictures tomorrow. They will need rings, they use stock kawi rings. I have the upsized tool steel pins for them and I think I have a spare set of circlips for the pins as well. The pistons were run on ms109 and they are a little dull cololred on top from the lead I think. Otherwise they cleaned up pretty well.

In the auto world I’ve been running Holley fuel injection. The new terminator x may be a pretty sweet setup for skis. $1000, auto tune, wiring harness and 3.5” display with data logging. https://www.holley.com/products/fuel...niversal_kits/

The Holley tuning software is super easy to use also. Just a thought. Interesting tech your digging up.

The last time I done any stand alone EFI was when BigStuff 3 was the top dogs in the game. I know people using the Holley Dominator, They really like it.
If it can be configured to take inputs from stock sensors, mainly crank and cam, must be waster resistant on board data logging and GOOD SUPPORT!
I will look into the Holley stuff.

I would make damn sure whatever you get is waterproof, or can be made waterproof. The newer holly dashes don't look sealed from what I have seen and also don't look sunlight readable since they all look like big phones. Aim/aem/halltech all have some version of a lcd dash that can be viewed even in direct sun.

Great tip! I'm on the fence about piggy backing the stand alone. Fuel tack speedo OVER TEMP WARNING have saved me more than once.
A boost gauge and AFR gauge to get it get it dialed in. Then pull them and ride. A LED strip above the dash that moves with boost would bring back the glory days of my Buick GN!!!

Yeah, I wouldn’t use the 3.5” digital dash that comes with it out in the open. You could build a little enclosure for it though. I think the larger dashes are sealed but check with Holley. I’ve used efisystemspro.com to buy all things Holley. Their pre and post sale support are really good.
