'20 GP1800R Stage 1 plus kit installed- Speedometer wacky

So I spend all weekend installing stage 1 plus kit (have 3 little kids so I couldn't dedicate a couple hours to just banging it out). I put ski in water at local marina yesterday, its very low tide but usually don't have issues. I get 20 feet from ramp and ski all of sudden starts vibrating like crazy, wont go past 2000 rpm without shaking insanely. At first I thought i screwed something up. I pull ski out, clean out grate, put back in..same thing..horrible vibration, no power. Pull it out again bring back home and pull off ride plate and intake grate. I then found this plastic cap wedged in the impeller, came out with a little tug. Didn't appear to damage anything luckily. Put ski back in water and all was well. Dodged a bullet. Ski pulls crazy hard and hit 79.8 on gps with a full tank. The only issue is my speedometer is wacky now, it'll be semi accurate until going faster than 30mph, then it goes down to 10-15 mph and stays in that range all the way up to full speed. Didn't do this before. Any thoughts on what is causing this? Is there a suggested fix?

Isn't it amazing what a little piece of plastic or wood can do to a high performance ski UGH!

It really is, that little plastic piece had a major effect on ski, it would barely move....

I have the same issues. My buddy rode mine and said it was the fastest 4 mph ski he’s ever been on. That’s what it was showing when he was pinned lol.
