    do not be too quick to add washers to the back of the plate. If you are truly hitting the rev limiter ever so slightly the loss in power will cause the ski to bounce some because there is not enough power to keep the nose of the ski up . you must get the rpms and correct prop pitch first then deal with the ride plate angle second.

    Hmmmm....so I require a new prop to regulate rpm? That must be very tough to get it precise?

    I see your point, the machine never used to porpoise on full fuel. Now it porpoises right off the hop. I cant stop it even if I am leaning forward. I am only 140lbs. I figured with my lean weight this machine should be barely touching the water.

    I took off the rubber hose that goes from plastic box to water box. There is no extension piece to be trimmed or cut. I guess this extension piece does not exist on the VXR?
