What most people don't understand is this seal is a maintenance item and needs to be replaced. I have 10 skis and 8 of them needed this seal. Almost all the skis have a fuel smell that I could never find a leak or a drop of fuel. Turns out it was this seal! It splits under the crimp and you never see it. I would encourage everyone to check your skis. Don't need any new videos of skis sending their riders into orbit.

    Seal fits the following models:
    GP760
    GP800
    GP1200
    GP800R
    GP1200R
    XL700
    XL760
    XL800
    XL1200
    XLT800
    XLT1200
    SUV1200

... These are manufactured with modern fuel resistant material that stand up to ethanol fuels.

... The [old factory original] seal [can] split and go undetected (check out pictures).
With a seal failure the fuel system can't build [the proper air] pressure in the [fuel] tank which aids in starting.

This seal was [previously] only available [with] the purchase of a new sending unit (part # F0D-U824B-01, $500).
This seal will help get your ski back on the water in a safe way.
