    Does the wear ring need to be replaced?

    Should I replace this wear ring? Thanks

    I would. Especially if your hitting the rev limiter on full throttle launches.

    Is replacing the ring doable outside of going to the dealership? I have the service manual instructions on replacing the ring and all the necessary torque values. But the one thing holding me up is that the manual states that the iBR will need to be recalibrated...is that true?

    Totally doable your self. I just did my 17 PX. You will need a hydraulic press to get the wear ring in. I did not have to recalibrate my IBR.

    It is do able. Put the new weae ring in the freezer and you don't need a press.

    Cool, thx. I’ll get er done then. How did you recalibrate the iBR...do you have the BUDS2 software?
