    Orange spark plugs

My fzs seemed to be several mph slower the other day and about 2# less boost than normal, seemed it was missing some punch. I checked plugs and they were a weird orangish color. I installed brand new plugs and went out and rode about an hour and everything was back to normal, speed and boost was back. The next day went and rode another hour or so, ski ran great again. Got rained out the next day (day 4 with new plugs). Then on day 5 rode again and was back to slower speeds and 2# low on boost. Checked plugs again (2.5 hours on new plugs in 5 days) and they were back to this orangish color again. I took the week off to ride so I have left my skis anchored out in water all week, which I normally don't do. What could cause this I never had this problem??

Pic is of 3 of them but all 4 looked the same, done put 1 back in before I remembered to take pic.Click image for larger version.

That is added octane boost in the fuel.

Yes I did add half a bottle of Lucas octane boost last week, does this harm the plugs?

I get about 10hrs on plugs before they foul, running Torco. Joys of MMT(active ingredient in all octane boosters)

No need for octane boosters , can you not get 93 octane gas? most tunes are safe with 93 octane and up to 18 psi of boost, If you need more try a mixture of race gas and 93 octane gas.

Klotz claims that their Higher Octatane Booster does not contain MMT.

How does it perform vs MMT?

I put 4oz per gallon in the tank but never finished breaking in the motor on the FZR so I have no useful data logs for knock detection.

Had 91, I usually run 93, so I add half a bottle of the Lucas.
