Always good to mention the watercraft year and model you are asking about, or perhaps keep all the related questions about the same machine in the same forum thread.

I just installed the Island Racing holeshot kit on our 01 GPR. The kit uses a high pressure, dual-layered and re-enforced hose. I don't think the hose you have will handle the high pressure.

    On a different note....

Where did you get your dual pickup plate from?
I modified our stock plate to accept the fitting and had to grind down the cast in webbing.

Before starting the mod I contacted island racing but never got a response, nor was going to send my CC info over email. I built my own kit, I bought the Riva dual cooling plate and riva high flow strainer from deans racing, Worx also stocks them. Thanks for letting me know I ended up buying Gates high pressure hose which supports 225 psi, used pex crimp fittings and Lowe’s reinforced hose. I also did a Jetworks bypass for other riders. I’d also like to add a filter to prevent the Jetworks valve from clogging as I’ve seen stories of it clogging up with sand and melting all the hose. Just extra insurance. I just need to do some research on what micron to get it in. And I will get an e85 compatible one to help with corrosion.

    That’s pretty slick!!
I was thinking the same thing.... installing a filter on the feed line from the strainer.
