    2017 GP1800, correct?

    Recommend ...

Buy the IMUK kit and install it when you remove the flame arrestor ribbon disc.

Also install the billet throttle body mount in place of the factory rubber sandwich dampener.

If you are installing a Blow Off Valve along with air intake upgrades then I expect you would also want to purchase the Riva MapTunerX and install a Stage 1 Plus tune.

The ribbon delete tends to run the center two cylinders slightly lean, and the aftermarket tune compensates to re-balance the air fuel ratio across the cylinders.

A Solas impeller would round out the basic upgrade package.

    OK, thank you .
    yes it is a 2017 gp1800
I have already bought imuk and trotle body mount. but I have to wait a bit before I get a tune.
would you still recommend doing ribbon delete even if i run stoc for a while or wait until i get a tune???

You can probably ‘get away with it’ with the IMUK running the engine slightly lean on the center two cylinders.

Make sure you use at least 91 octane fuel, and a little higher of you can find it. Just to give the engine a bit of headroom.

And maybe not ride around at wide open throttle for too many minutes at a time ...

    thanks.
then I remove the flame arrestor.
and mounts riva IMUK without worrying that I did something stupid

Has it been proven that the Stage 1+ tune does in fact adjust the fueling for the center cylinders even though the ribbon delete is not part of RIVA's Stage 1+ package?

...NOTE from RIVA: Our testing has determined the stock ECU will compensate for the increased boost provided by our Intake Manifold Upgrade Kit.
