    Msx 140 cyl on a 1200di motor

Hi everyone. I broke a rod in my 1200di motor that i have in my msx 140. I am looking at buying a crank and cylinder assembly but was wondering if i could use a cylinder and piston i have left from my msx140 motor that blew up long time ago. Also open to suggestions on what i can do. If anyone has used motors or parts for either a 1200di or msx140 I maybe interested. I dont have a lot of cash to spend on this so would like to fix it as reasonable as possible. Thanks for your help

The MSX cylinders are different, I wouldn't put one on a "regular" 1200DI motor.
