2012 Rxpx 260 IBR Codes
Hey guys, I have 2012 Rxpx 260 with 36 hours. To make a long story short I have replaced the ibr and had it reflashed within the last month (3hours), and now I’m having the same issues.... again. I just replaced the battery and that didn’t help. Any thoughts? Ideas? This feels like it has to be a moisture/electrical issue.

What codes do you have? Have you tried swapping out the 30 amp IBR fuse with a new one...for some reason the fuse seems to get loose.

That chart helps a lot. Anyone know where the ground would be for the ibr? Is it on the ibr?

did you check the max battery voltage while the engine was running?
under what circumstances do these codes appear?
and where exactly did the replacement IBR come from?

It was 14.3.
Most of the time the code comes when the ski has been used a couple times a day.
It came new from a dealer. OEM part.

can go get it to throw a code while its on the hose?
the IBR is one of the most sensitive bits of electronic gear I've ever encountered
if it over or under volts for a millisecond it drops off the canbus and throws a half a dozen error codes.
your ski have rear access hatches for the ibr? is the hull dry as a bone?
when you replaced the IBR did you use dielectric grease on the connectors?
tell me about the battery..agm?, or SLA..brand? cables tight with a wrench ( must do)
recently a forum members IBR fault was traced to a set of tender leads installed between the main battery cable and its terminal.
that's how sensitive to voltages that bugger is.
give the rack/track a good spray down with some silicon spray. don't be stingy
these can be difficult to track down.

When you put the safety lanyard on and push the start button once, sometimes the 3 codes will pop up sometimes they won't. Saturday the codes didn't come on after 7 or 8 different tries, and yesterday morning it came on after 1 try, but not this morning.
I do not have the access hatches.
It isn't 100% dry, when this has happened on the water it has been from multiple water rides without taking the seat off to air out.
I do not think dielectric grease was used
The battery is a AGM I bought Saturday (The one I took off was a YUSA that read 12.7, but I was going to change it anyway just to be sure)
Are the tender leads on the positive cable that run to a solenoid?
What are you calling the rack/track?
