2020 Rxt-x 300 11 hours only pulling 7600 rpm
Hello, new to the forum so bear with me. I have a 2020 rxtx300 with 11 hours. It’s only pulling 7600 rpms. Scom installed, starts in sport as it should. I’ve tested with and without scom connected and basically flatline at 7600 rpm. I was wondering if anyone else has had this issue.

Hello, I am new to the forum as well, but have been reading the forum for a few years. Just got my 2020 RXT-X 300. I only have 5.5 hours, but like your Seadoo, mine goes to 7600 rpms...it blipped to 7700 for a second...but right back to 7600. With that being said, the speedo goes to 70 and then holds at 69. I only held it there for a few seconds...as I am still trying to break it in correctly. I will update you as I add a few more hours.

Still only 69-70. Won’t break past 7600 rpm.

I’m sure others may say the same, but this happened to me on my new ‘16 RXP 300. The culprit was a loose T-clamp connecting the exhaust manifold. Couldn’t hear a leak and only found after I went over every single hose clamp. Just an easy place to start.

I posted in another thread:
I have an 18 px and was pulling 8050 rpm at 71mph with scom only (I am 6’6” and 285lbs) when it was in the 60s in Michigan and less humid. Now in the 80s i am only able to get 66 mph and 7700 rpm max. This is my last year with the sled and am ordering a new one as warranty will expire, May try a power filter kit from RIVA on the next one but it’s defiantly frustrating And noticeable losing 5mph with summer temps. My old 260px did the same thing.
will check for exhaust leak now, great idea and makes sense! Oil level is good. Wear ring is perfect.
