    2006 GTI Not charging

Hey guys I bought a 06 GTI with upgraded SE features (Mirrors, back step, etc). When I bought the unit it was in great working order. The rectifier was just replaced and it was running fine, with the exception of a 12V HIGH error at WTO. The third ride I had on it, I was getting a 12V LOW error and looked into it and checked the fuses, one of my main 30 blew one of the ends off. Ever since then it rides until it wont start like the battery is dead. So, im wondering if this damaged the rectifier and stater, is there anyway to check? Please let me know!

    The third ride ...
Did you do any diagnostics when or right after the high voltage warning occurred? Did the warning reoccur on subsequent rides?

No, I didn't think much of it since it only occurred when it was at WTO. I only checked things when I started to get the 12V LOW on my third ride only to find that fuse blown.

I just got done testing the rectifier, the readouts were acting weird. Not sure if could be the problem i need to figure out how i can test the stater with the three pin connector.

Unhook the stator connector. Ohm between any two yellows should read around 1 ohm or less. None should read continuity to ground. With volt meter on the battery note voltage, start it up and watch voltage, rev it some and note voltage. If voltage drops, doesn't rise, or rises above 14v, the rectifier is bad.
