I had my stock plate reworked by Groupk years ago when they first offered the service. It didn't provide much improvement over stock. Better off spending $ on an aftermarket impeller/sponsons. An STX-R rideplate is much better, but you lose reverse. Sometimes these pop-up on eBay.

So here's what happened, I swapped the jet pump with the the jet pump from the 02 parts ski. The ski that I ride really woke up. I now have less vibration at lower speeds, and it pulls allot harder it even hit 56 mph via dream-o-meter. Really excited! Maybe in the off season I will pull it back out and rebuild the bearings, possibly put a solas impeller in if I can find a cheap enough one.
Thanks for all the help fellas, really appreciate it

After riding with the parts ski jet pump for two weeks, my problem has reoccurred. I am back down to 45 mph, I thought I would get at least the season out of the back up pump.
I am assuming I'm in need of a pump rebuild, what's a good place to send it to? I've never had to deal with something like this so any input would be greatly appreciated.

So I know this thread was a while back but I finally got around to rebuilding the jet pump on my stx di. I am just having a hard time figuring out where that little cone shaped spacer goes. Does anyone know what I’m talking about and could help.

I don't remember a cone-shaped spacer. Have you looked at the parts diagram?

Stx 1100 di running at 41mph
I just had a look and it looks like it goes in between the seal and snap ring i just don’t remember which direction.
part number 92028
Btw that diagram is awesome
Easy issue has been resolved I just had to take another look. The smaller side of the bushing goes towards the impeller. Thanks againLast edited by Kawachris; 02-27-2021 at 01:50 PM.
