    lean and overheating

    i want to check my cooling engine is running hot..., where would i start? and also maybe it is running lean...what are the possible causes of running lean???

    Lean is from lack of fuel. Either from a clogged or improperly jetted fuel system, Or, an air leak.

    I would start ensuring your cooling system is ok. An engine that is running hot from a lean condition generally doesnt last too long before a piston failure.

    Consistently getting hotter engine temps with what may seem decent engine performance yet, will usually be a coolant obstruction.
