    Don't be.
You are as important to this build, as you think I was to yours.

    IMHO, more so.

Heaven forbid if you put a turbo rxp in there and no cat fight either please
It is kinda funny though how Joe's ready to save that extra 6000 he was ready to drop on "Spitfire",to start a turbo build and damn smart too!

Not so fast! I think Mark and I can squeeze a few more MPH out of the shitfire easily.

I'll leave the turbo's and stuff to the smart guys to figure out first. I'm in no rush. Maybe in 2008 or 2009. I did my design work last year, and will now sit back and enjoy the speed and accel rush from it. As I said, I'm letting Jerry decide most of this stuff based upon HIS results. I'm not trying to be the fastest... but this will be a very QUICK ski. Jerry makes me think we can do this on 91 octane, without losing too much, and I'm all hip to that. I got some 14vein pump magic and toys to make it quick.

If Joe will stop changing crap on the Splitfire, I'm thinking we will nail off some 85+mph runs by October and greater than that, when the cold weather gets here... unless he sells it.

Thats a very sound approach Mark.I also have a 14-vien setback with a titainium shaft I am putting in my conversion. It wouldnt surprize me if Joe is hittin 90 by Wf's.I think my estimates are low from the rumor mill on the turbo Kawi,Chuck cant seem to remember but I think I heard him mutter 387 from being on the phone with the tuner. You might want to start looking for a wrecked or burned 250 .That would be totally outragous in that carbon fiber hull, but I already know whats most feasable with your expertise

    Ultra250???
    Your kidding right?
What part of "I'm not going to re-invent the wheel again" don't you get, Spunky? Good luck with all that design garbage. I've arrived at about as much performance as I need. The ems-rxp powerplant is just fine for me. I'm done. 300hp is great for me right now...God forbid I get there on 91 octane... and I'm being TOLD 400hp plus from the race gas turbo version.

Joe won't hit 90 by WF. That's unreasonable with his mild setup. We have a good solid approach if he doesn't sell it, and will approach mid-80's before WFs, and we'll consider his setup after that. No need to mess up such a great reliable platform for just some gps numbers.

Yea I am kidding you Mark. But not about Joe,He is an adrenaline junkie, and so am I.Were you there when he rode Kerry's tripple?Tell me he wasnt euphoric afterwards.I'd bet money he's counting horses jumpin into "Spitfire" right now as he try's to sleep He'll be at least upper 80's by WF's!
