2020 wake 170 tow pylon flex

There is a lot of flex in the ski pylon. I can stand behind the ski and flex it pretty good just by pulling on it which really surprised me. Starting to make sense why the manual says not to pull tubes with it.

To be honest I'm a bit disappointed with sea doo no this one. The pylon is attached only to the removable deck panel that you remove to work on the engine. It has no further reinforcement to the rest of the hull like I assumed it would.

When it flexes the whole removable panel is oil-canning. Hard to tell but the upper fiberglass hull might be flexing as well.

I'm not pulling near as hard as a actual skier or wake boarder would.

    Again, kinda disappointed.

Anyone else have experience with these pylons? Good or bad?
