High water and no wake zones

Just a heads up everyone, the water is going down, but we are currently still under NWZ's anywhere there is a house/camp. Hopefully it drops enough to be lifted by the second weekend in June. See you guys soon!

I have been keeping an eye on the Belle here

I know that the Atchafalaya has been steadily dropping and is now just above the flood stage ( 6 foot ).
Jerry were would we find the info from Parish Police Jury on NWZ status?
Either way several of us will be there early that week. We will give you a holla.

I tried searching by Google and Spacebook and finding nothing. Even tried Parish official websites and Facebook pages.

Well, the room is booked and I'm bringing the whole family down (we pull in Thursday evening) come hell or high water. Since my wife is driving her own ski and we'll have all the kids with us, I'm hoping to hook up with a group for some fun rides. I'll be filming all weekend, so you just might be part of a video for WCJ!

Currently the Atchafalaya River is at 6.5 feet. Flood stage is 6 foot. The predictions I have seen are for the river to rise to 9.5 feet. Back filling of the Belle will happen, not sure how much. The water will go down just no telling how fast, alot will depend on how much rain there is further north of MC. The winds currently are not predicted to be to bad, hopefully it will stay that way. I will be there Tuesday or Wednesday.
Last of all for all of my friends in the path of the storm. Praying that this thing stays weak and does not do any damage. We can always come to Morgan City to ride at a later time.

Current stages are below originally projected impacts from the storm. Fingers crossed!
