2014 Rxt260 paper towel went into supercharger hole.... ???
Hello fellow members. I was changing the Carbon seal. I removed the supercharger and placed some paper towels in there so nothing would go in the hole. From there I tried to pry bar the ring and carbon seal backward to get the clip on But with difficulties. So I decided to bump the motor over to rotate it and that is when the paper towel I guess got caught on the fly wheel and maybe went into the engine block or oil area. I am wondering what is the best way possible to get it out of the engine. I tried various pick tools and coathangers and cannot feel anything I think it went in deep. Would it be best to remove the PTO cover to get it out? Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

yes, remove PTO to get it all out, there is like 22 or so e8 bolts around PTO...expect a good bit of oil to be in it, water pump has 2 long bolts that need to come off too

Well I started the ski and instantly got a check engine light with the oil light flickering at 2900 rpms. So either the paper towel got sucked in to something or is possibly blocking the flow somewhere. Thanks

You just opened a can of worms. Even after being given advice for a simple fix of removing the PTO cover...

A Shop Manual and following step by step instructions with proper tools were needed prior to this incident and definitely needed now!
