Fouled with black dry soot. Why?
My 1994 Sl 750 center cyclinder fouls out after a short time with a black dry soot. Other two cyclinders seem to fire ok. What is the problem?

Black dry soot is usually running lean. Back that cyls. carb adj. screw out a 1/8" at a time until it's light brown. You should read in the tech section for tuning carbs and do proper WOT chops before you hole a piston. ASAP!!!
