    Midshaft bearing leak

I have been fighting a leak on my FZR. Sealed the transom, ride plate, and intake grate.

It is still leaking. When I back the trailer in and run it on the trailer I can't get a leak. Would this make it likely that it is the midshaftbearing area like what Jerry had?

Would that leak running on the trailer?

Have you checked the hose and clamps from the midshaft to hull? I had a leak from there but only when I rode at a brisk pace. There’s lots of back pressure from the pump there

I ordered a camera. I did see anything on the trailer so I will see if I can pick it up with a camera when riding it.

    I saw this video.

I filled it up with water and nothing cam out. I did notice the joint pipe only had 1 bolt it in and not 3. Is that glued in place?

Just got finished fighting a leak on my fz and it was the mid shaft bearing / seal it would not leak on the trailer at first but when I finally found it you hear it leaking and putting it in on the trailer it would start leaking. I was getting around 3 gallons of water after my rides out of my hull. It’s in the shop now getting fixed under warranty- bet that was expensive

350 hrs on my ski btw

yes, that is glued in place. The 3 screws basically just keep it in place

What is the chances of that leaking? My sports camera is coming today to try and capture it while riding it.

I might try and make the test tool Jerry made this weekend if I am not boating.

Anyone have any recommendations on fix it?

I am thinking I need to do what was done on post #25 here.
