    I don't remember. I just went to the local and asked what they used to glue the crankcases back together and bought a tube.

    Ok guys, so I have all my parts. The service manual is not clear on how to find top dead center on the crank end. I do not have the head on. The head has obvious marks to set timing, but the crank portion of engine nothing. Suggestions?

    Service Manual states :

    Measurement steps:
    - Turn the drive coupling counterclockwise, and then check if cylinder #1 is at TDC of the compression stroke with a dial gauge.
    - NOTE: TDC on the compression stroke can be found when the camshaft lobes are turned away from each other.


    Without the head, not sure how you can determine TDC - other than turning the crank so that #1 & #4 piston are completely up.
    PS - You likely know this already ... the mr1 is backwards, so #1 is nearest the cam chain

    Getting there used dial gauge to find tdc.
