Rxp/Rxt 300 Prop running in 260
I have just installed a untouched OEM RXT/RXP 300 prop into my 260.
Was running 81mph with a Skat 14/18 3 blade at 9000rpm. Have been running that prop for a long time. It was pulling 8800rpm when it had ET68/137 + 4 and a Cam. It now has a ET70/146 and is pulling just over 9k. But now with the 14/18 it's just spinning the prop under acceleration and not going any faster top end.
Given that a stock Rxt/Rxp 300 is pitched at 13.5/24 I should get pretty good acceleration and in theory a higher top speed at lower rpm. Provided it can spin it.

Anyone spun the stock 300 prop in an rxp up to 9000rpm?

First ride out with the oem 300 prop in my 260 and it's way to tall. Great acceleration, from a standstill start it launches out of the water like a little ski, even with the trim down. That's cool.
But top end rpm down to around 8250rpm and speed down to about 75 mph. That's not cool.
Will depitch the trailing edge and try again.

Took 4.5mm out of the trailing edge and pulled the rpm back upto 8750-8800. Accel is still awesome and it grunts out of hard corners. Top speed is back. Rolling acceleration is insane.

Great information, would seem this is a possible upgrade for most high power 1500cc versions.

When I rode a 2019 300 Rxp I was amazed at the stock performance and had a feeling I could make a 300 prop work.
