Looks like the STX 160 has cruise control. It is not mentioned in the 2020 Ultra LX ad. The 2019 Ultra LX does not have it.

Yeah. It's really weird. You would think Kawasaki would standardize controls and ecu setups between the stx and lx lineup.

Well, they make what they want, not what WE want.

They would have a bigger market share if they actually polled customers to see what they wanted.

I didn't say the STX doesn't have, I meant the current 2020 Ultra LX doesn't. Nothing changed there.

I used to take my girlfriends hair-tie and double it over and wrap around the throttle to keep it in a certain place haha. Works great!

I see the confusion if you just say LX. The STX160 has a LX model as well as the Ultra LX. I have both the STX160 and STX160LX, both have cruise control BUT the LX has the up/down toggle switch to increase/decrease speed while CC is set. I use my middle or ring fingers as a wedge and seems to work when I don’t feel like setting the cruise. Also, I don’t think the cruise works with the SLO key, seems to only work with the GREEN key. Anyone else can confirm this?

Busted Yes, I’m still fairly new to riding a JetSki and just waiting to get more comfortable before going Green key all the time. I wonder why that warning sign about water forcefully into rectum may cause injury is on the back of the ski.
