It is what they claim so I can’t complain. 4mph sustained speed Gain with a full tank and 5mph with half tank is worth $200 no doubt. Hope to ride with a couple stock 18 300s tomorrow so will be interesting to see how much faster 4-5mph is!

Can always go Tune or RIVA Stage 2 Once warranty is up if I need more.

Do you ride on a lake? Or saltwater? Keep in mind, if you're in a still body of water like a lake, some of these wild speeds people post are also generated at sea level, in saltwater, going with the current in many cases. There are many variables to consider when thinking about personal top speed. I saw about the same as you at around 70-80*
with a SCOM, on a freshwater lake, at 1100 ft. I don't expect any record breaking numbers like that.

Or don't wait for the warranty to be up.

Stage 1 & 2 tunes are super safe, if something fails it's not because of the tune.
    Wait 10 hours then flash!

You're spot on where you should be then. Don't sweat it. I bet in saltwater, at sea level, with the current, you'd be doing 77+.

I regularly hit this until about Mid June when the water started heating up, then it would be 76-77, 75 with full tank. SCOM only, this was a 19 RXT. Just picked up my 20 RXT and recently clipped 5 hours. Transferred the SCOM from my 19, installing FrogSkinz in the next week or so. Hoping to replicate the results. Have not gone full out on the 20 yet.

We have 91 No ethanol fuel here along with 94 with 10% ethanol. Will try out both.

I can tell you, for riding in the rivers around here, the 91 no ethanol fuel combined with the new larger fuel tank in the RXT has made my first 5 hours on barely a tank and half of fuel.

Nice! Unless Riva changed something recently, the SCOM is keyed to the ski...it won't work on your new ski.

I actually contacted them regarding this. They said on the newer skis it is transferable. I can confirm at least so far it starts the ski in sport mode every time so that functionality is there. Next ride out I will be opening her up as I just clipped 5 hours,

Anything between about 72 and 75MPH is about it for the SCOM 99% of the time. You running a solid 73 with clicks to 74MPH its working just fine. It's 200 bucks for a solid 5-6MPH gain.

There is people with mild tunes of 8300-8400RPM and intakes that are having a hard time seeing much more than 75-77 MPH.

P.S.: Not all skis are created equal. That has been proven on here many times over.

I think for the most part production differences in skis are probably fairly small these days. I think conditions and rider weight have way more of an influence between speeds on the same ski. That being said my TX ran 75-76 dash, at 8000rpm stage 1 flash,13/18 solas 3 blade, 7/8ths fuel 170lb rider. My PX ran 82dash, stock prop, full tank gas. It was hot/muggy out yesterday.
