Aux. Bilge pump switch location. 2019 rxtx

Was wondering where you guys are placing the on/off switch for an auxiliary bilge pump? The store sells a switch that mounts to the handle bars, but I don't think this will work, I may be wrong. Pictures would help me decide.

After all the carbon seal failures, I'm thinking I need an aux. bilge pump.

    Thank you in advance.

I'm installing mine this weekend. I will not be installing a switch. Just going to wire it directly (with inline 5A fuse).

why would you want it there?

The universal bilge switch mounts to a 5/8" handlebar, it won't work for the rxtx.

I like the idea of it mounting near the phone holder. If anyone else has some ideas I'd love to hear about it.

    Thanks guys.

It's a pain in the arse to install. You have to take the the storage box out, front cover off and feed the wires through the ducts at the front.
I got the switch from here...

Where does your bilge output go?

I see a lot go to the aft, right or left, but it seems to pump it i to the footwells.

I was thinking to install the switch on an aluminium bracket under the front seat - similar to what he is doing in this video: . Only difference he is putting the switch in the port rear hatch - which is not there on my 18 GTX Ltd 300..
