Engine runs rough at idle and hard acceleration
engine has no power at low rpm and high rpm runs great at 40mph
not sure how to check fuel pressure
new plugs the old ones only had a few hours on them but they looks fine.
no mods on this ski got to get her running good before i spend the moneys elsewhere
    2nd owner.
this is the third motor, first one blew a head gasket, fit it the mechanic left a rag in the hull and it got rapped around the coupler and pulled of the cooling hoses and sunk the ski. had a new SBT motor put in and it blew up on break in. Now we are on the third motor and still not 100%

Because your pwc has sunk and I dont know if it sunk in salt water or not, I would disconnect all your wire connectors and clean them with contact cleaner first, check your earth ground connection on the engine and at the battery to see if they are loose. ( and the do loosen up often from vibration) Then check for vacuum leaks.

Maybe while the pwc is on the trailer and in the water, short out one cylinder at a time while the engine is under a load. Like around 2500 RPM S. Might be able to isolate the problem that way.
You will need to do a fuel pressure test too. That is a must.

Make sure no water in the fuel and it is fresh.

Basically the video must be uploaded elsewhere, such as YouTube or another video hosting service.

Then a link to the shared video can be included here.

for me it seems to be running on 3 plugs but I might be wrong as my knowledge is limited. Try removing the plugs that goes into the spark plugs one by one while the engine is running and notice if engine changes sound.

If when removing one of them the engine remains working the same you have found what could be the issue and check all the stuff related to that plug

After it was sunk I had a new motor and wiring harness replaced and the throttle position sensor relay was all replaced. I got it back last August did the break in and really didnít ride it hard. So it wasnít really tested. I replaced the spark plugs, took out the injectors clean them changed all of the coils clean the map sensor, Iím running out of things but o know it is still not 100%

    Any help would be great!!
