ultra 150 no start
Does anyone on this forum have something like a diagnostic flowchart for "no start" and/or "no charging" for an Ultra 150?
Thanks D-

To conclude this issue,..... the starter cable lug fell off in my hands. I'll replace brush cap and lug. That should cure the symptoms.

ok, now.........if anyone ever wonders, you don't need to remove the motor to service the starter. I removed the starter and got about 6 + ounces of 2 stroke oil on my left hand. WTF?

ok, now I feel
. The stator housing carries 200 ml of 2 stroke oil. It also has a filler hole and "full mark". If anyone feels it neccessary to laugh at me, please do now!
It always helps to look in the manual before asking a dumb question!

I thought that maybe it was just me. I tried everything, takin extra showers, takin' plenty of BEENO, brushin my teeth,...... Maybe at least one reply will make me feel better!
I went ahead and posted some tech articles in the "how to" side just in case for anybody.

I had to laugh at the oil part. That had to be a pita to get out with the motor in. I dealt with mine while building a new motor. That was a good thing because I used an early set of cases and there was a boss that had to be ground down to get the starter to fit. Most people wouldnt know about the starter / oil thing unless they did what you did or built one of these motors. It would be great if the manual was avaliable in pdf format online. I am a beliver in buying the manual it has saved me thousands of $ on my ultra alone. More of us should take the time to "help a brother out" Glad you found the problem with yours now get out and ride it!
