    RXP X 255

My son and I have been working on his ski having a good time doing so. He has a 2008 Seadoo RXP X 255 super clean ski. We have put the Riva stage one kit on it plus the intake mod and catch can. Right now the ski is running 74.8. What kind of speed increase will we ge with a stage one tune?

I wouldn't expect any more. 74.8 is excellent for stage 1 mods. RR

What holes are they filling on the ride plate holes? So it does no good to get a tune in the ski?

A tune will raise the rev limit & change the fuel & timing a tad which is good but probably wont effect your top numbers much if any. Def do it if it is part of the package. I did all my mods w/o a specific kit from Riva but you need to be careful of the rev limit. Most stage 1 works ok with factory fuel & timing parameters in the ecm but the rev limit can bite you. RR

8100 I consider plenty safe. In cold weather I have seen as much as 8180 with my 15/22r but when i do I get out quick. During the warmer months its dead on about 8040-8100. A tune would be safer for me too for sure I just feel if you change the factory tune you should have a way to monitor afr. Just havent taken that step. RR
