    Stock 07 rxp impeller replacement

    Hey guys. I have another thread going right now where I'm chasing what I'm thinking is a boost leak causing low RPMs(7600ish). I've got an impeller question and it seemed more appropriate to make this it's own topic, if that's a mistake on my end I'm sorry, I'll delete and add this to the other thread.

    I've got a stock 07 rxp 215. I noticed something plastic stuck in the pump after a ride yesterday that caused me to pull the pump to get it out. In doing so I learned 2 things. 1. This impeller looks like it needs replacing to me. And 2. The previous owner put a solas 14/19r in it.

    So my questions:
    1. Does this look like it's time to replace?it does to me. But another opinion is always nice
    2. What size impeller should I go with for a stock ski? I'm doing some searching and getting conflicting answers of 13/18 and 14/19.
    3. Could this 14/19 be contributing to my low(7600ish) rpm issue?
    4. What else should I replace while I have this all apart?

    Thanks guys this place seems like a wealth of info and I'm sure my answers are already out there somewhere. I'm just having a hard time finding them myself.

    Looks a little chewed up to me. If it was mine I'd put a new one on it.

    That's what I'm thinking too. I just wanted a second opinion before I spent the money. Thanks man.

    i think yours RMP with 14/19 to be abuot 7900 it to big for stock jetski with 4 inch air hose that impeller works great. i didint see big damage , i repair it in garage easily.

    if you dont want repair, just buy 13/18

    Prop doesn't look horrible. Could lightly file down any rough edges. Maybe wait until you have your supercharger(from other post) redone and see where you're at. Sometimes doing mutiple things at one time leaves more questions. JMO

    This is where my head is at right now too. Im going to keep this one for now. I've got a prop guy that I'm bringing it to tomorrow to get cleaned up and then I'll be reinstalling it. Supercharger stuff has been ordered so as soon as that gets here I'm going to get the s/c done, run it and see what happens. If at that point I realize I'm a little low on RPM I'll revisit the impeller topic with it
