    Riva Gen II intercooler shot??

Today I pulled off my Riva IC to move the engine forward so i can change the rubber coupler and this is what it looks like. I only ride once a year in salt wather in my vactions. Is it leaking or what?? Ski runs great at 8400 rpms on a low boost wheel around 80 Mph, no sings of power loss

Wow! That’s ugly. Is that what salt air does? Or was there some kind of leak? Hmmm....

As others have mentioned, its very possible its from the Salt air and nothing to do with Riva. I rode in the ocean on February 4th, washed everything off really well with soap and hot water. Went to ride last week and had Salt residue all over a few of the rubber hoses.

Well i wish it was the salty air but no.... its leaking, not much but lt leaks anyway. Anybody knows if this can be repaired?? Thanks!

Damn that sucks, can't tell where leak is but if its on the bar yes it should be able to be repaired. I would contact Riva to see if they would be willing to help.

Yes thats wath i did, lets see if the Riva guys can give me a hand with this one. The ski is used only a few times in the ocean, most of the time i run in my local river. The leak seem to come from a bar in the palce its welded to the tank.

On the GEN2 you can change the core out by itself as you separate it now......i would just buy an new core at Riva... i guess they have the spare part in Stock for your cooler....

Well this is what i did to seal my cooler. Used this Boiler sealer i have in hand to see what happens and the result is promising, i dont know if this solution will last or for how long...... What do you think guys?? Pressurized to 80+ psi and keeps the pressure pretty good.
