    Try running the cone with no spacer and boring your nozzle out. You can bore it to 85.5mm or there about. The lucky 13 cone needs to have the nozzle bored, it would choke my motor down bad on the stock 83mm exit nozzle even with no spacers. Not saying that's entirely what's going on here but it's worth a shot. It takes some doing to get the pump dialed in with the cone but it's worth it in my opinion once everything is sorted.

    I have tried it before but I never logged when I did. Ill deff give it a shot again and make some logs this time. My goal right now is really more to just optimize my power and acceleration while still maintaining a decent top speed.

    The only way I can really monitor knock is to examine the timing logs for each cylinder and identify any inconsistencies where the ECU is pulling timing. I don't believe I ran into this issue too much last season but I will go back through my logs and double check.

    My nozzle is currently bored to 85mm. But i could still open it up further, it's the solas nozzle that came with the 14 vane Solas pump. Not sure if it's a thicker casting than the stock nozzles.

This actually supports my current leading theory that most of my RPM issues are related to the fact that I am running a Solas 14 Vane pump, and I'm sure the lucky 13 cone isn't helping with this either. In theory my pump setup should be significantly more efficient than an OEM pump, which could explain why my RPMs are lower tham others with similarly pitched impellers in a OEM pump.

    I cannot speak of the Solas pump other than I've heard it stuffs sooner than the OEM pump. If you still have the OEM pump reinstall it to confirm your theory.

    It definitely makes it stuff sooner, that's for sure. But the hookup is awesome. Unfortunately 2010&2011 were the years the stock pump was the ride plate mounted style and I converted over to the transom mounted pump when I got the Solas. So theres no going back to that one. lol

    That was a smart move converting to the "normal" pump, but a lot of work! At what speed are you "seeing" stuffing? PRV's?
