    How to open Battery?

    Hello,

I have a battery for my pwc that is on its way out and I wanted to try to bring it back by filling it with some more electrolyte, however I havent been able to get it open. Attached is pictures of the batteries.

I first took a plastic strip off which revaled that white dot which felt like it was made of a thin plastic, like a thin cap, but didnt seem at all like it was meant to be opened. I then tried prying open the circles at the top which I presumed were the plugs, however wasnt really getting anywhere with them. I tried pushing my flathead deeper to pry and a bunch of gas hissed out which concered me and I took a break to look it up. Is this battery even meant to be opened? Do I just have to pry more at the circles? Thanks!

Thatís a sealed AGM battery. There is no liquid electrolyte in it.

If it released a bunch of gas the battery is now ruined
