    How many 300 owners have had crank gear slip issue?

    how many have a 300 and found that the crank gear had slipped...if so what did you do to fix issue?

    Many have pinned the crank , on all my builds I pin the gear to the crank on 3 spots .

    what to do if you suspect one has slipped....do you have to buy a new crank?

    Am not a crank expert but since we have 3 cylinders we also have a counter weight and the gear has a mark thatís must be aligned with the counter weight , if this gear has spun they wonít work in harmony , best bet would be to get a used or new crank and have it pinned to prevent it from moving again if you are pushing big H.P.

    Are you actually having it pinned or just welding it?
