    Water routing

has anyone tried to use a pressure relief valve after the strainer + ic , and before the exhaust ? it would give you max water flow at low rpm to the exhaust ,and the advantage of a dedicated dump after the ic .i don't think the exhaust would need more then 30 lbs or so to keep it cool ?

There is no dump stock on the 05, so I don't see how this can help. Why risk melting the exhaust if the valve should stick open. Have you modified the stock pump washer size?.

    Can't comment on the 13

there is no dump on either one stock
the exhaust has a sensor and buzzer
the washer is drilled out to 1/2''
this is performance forum correct ?

Sure is, but why did you drill out the washer and now want to dump the extra water.
I have run stock washer to a fizzle to exhaust and out for 10 years on an 04 and never had an issue at all. I run 80 mph and 8700 rpm and no cooling issues for hours at a time.
Newer skis have more convoluted cooling so thats why i won't comment on the 13. The 04/05 is dead simple and it works.

the idea is more water to cool the fizzle and the added heat from the xx2 charger
i am not sure the amount of water that can flow through the exhaust and i don't want to create to much pressure in the system
so that is the reason for the dump
the 13 has the same water routing as the 05
so... your opinion would be, more water flow to the inter cooler would not have any effect on intake manifold temperature until 81 mph +?
