Missing exhaust hose on polaris hurricane

Hi guys, I have a 1997 polaris hurricane 700 I just started getting to work on to prepare it for summer. Towards the top back side of the exhaust there is a spot where it looks like a hose or tube of some sort is supposed to be. When its running it just spits water out of it. Is there supposed to be a hose here or no? Thanks!

I think I was able to get a photo of the exhaust outlet uploaded.

Yes there should be a hose there, that will run to the bottom of that "C" shaped pipe, just past the end of the "C" bend.

That fitting on the pipe will unscrew, it is important to check the screen located on the inside of it. Also make sure the small opening of that fitting is not blocked.
The fitting feeds water that cools the exhaust/keeps exhaust hose from burning.

AHA, under the exhaust was the fallen off tube. I put it back on and made sure it was screwed down tight. Screen and opening looked good, thanks a lot!
