The Riva MaptunerX tune library with the correct Solas impeller provides much of the initial performance gain. Riva Stage 1 tune.

My understanding of Riva tune naming is that Stage 1 tunes expect a totally stock engine. Just install the tune and have more engine power and available RPM.
Riva Stage 1 PLUS tunes are matched to ‘first level’ engine modifications, which includes a cold air intake.

Stage 1 Plus tune (if you have enough fuel octane to match the Plus tune, requires US 93 octane)
There is a ‘Low Octane’ Stage 1 Plus tune that works with US 91 octane.

The air intake is a better match for the Riva Plus tunes.

Tip: The tune must match the engine modifications, and the engine modifications must match the tune.
Do not install a tune meant for a different engine hardware configuration.

The impeller is selected to match both the new engine power and the expected maximum sustained RPM in the water.

Note: Many new owners elect to limit maximum RPM in the tune to 8000, which reduces risk of warranty issues. The ECU logs RPM and run time in ‘bands’ and anything over 8000 is logged separately.

My steering was super tight on my ski too and would stick in any position you put it in. All I did was loosen the bolt underneath the column and then tighten it back up again, Good to go after that. Make sure it doesnt slide down too much, or it will get really sloppy.

That is my issue exactly, I will readjust that bolt in the column. Thank you!

I took the hose out and I'll head to the hardware store for a replacement.
