    1500 / 1630 head & cam differences )))))

    Can anyone advise if these are interchangeable?

    I have been advised that a cam from a 1630 will fit a 1500 (would obviously need tuning correctly) - can anyone confirm?

    Likewise for retainers?

    It is a direct fit on the older heads I believe you want to remove the oil restrictor plug,I have put a 2018 head on a 04 block ran great.

    I want to see somone build a franken motor with a 260 block and all 300 internals and boost the shut out of it lol

    Stock 300 internals arent much better than 260

    The main problem is the plasma coating on the 300 platform.

    And out of all of the stock cams, is the 29 camshaft still considered the best/most aggressive?

    Yes it is. If you are looking it I have a 029 lightened cam.

    Was looking into it but crank I was interested was stolen. Can be done but needs some block machining for clearances. Still might do it at some point.

    Stock internals are 130cc's better than a 260 and don't have to worry about the plasma crap
