    Trim Adjustment reference.

On new ski the trim looks wrong. Trimmed up the jet flow looks like almost 1/2 would clip/hit the reverse bucket.
I know how to adjust it, but what is the end goal/ reference point.

So on i could use calipers and try and bet they distance from pump nozzle to steering nozzle the same top and bottom. But that only works if the steering nozzle is square by design.

Steering/trim nozzle adjustment is covered in the service manual.

Basically in neutral trim position the rear end of the nozzle should be square/vertical.

You can disconnect the reverse bucket link rod from the bucket (slide the outer clip) and move it by hand to check clearance.

They don't hit it's not a clearance issue, as the trim is so high jet wash would be hitting the bucket in full trim...I don't have the manual will google though.
