from ground to engine mounting plate was 00.0.

Not sure what thatís telling me, I tried the plugs against the head again and still no spark on the one cylinder.
Compare with specs from the service manual

Ok so I found the specs in the manual.. just have one question and I can’t find it in the manual.. how do I tell which post is my primary and which is secondary?

Secondary coil would be the post that connects to the spark plug wire

thanks man lol id be lost without you... so i did some homework to make sure im testing this right and im confident i got the results i checked them about 3 times... so in the manual the primary should read from 0.05-0.15 and the secondary should read 225-325 for the DI system. i checked both my primarys (posts to ground tab) and got .267 on both. when i put my plugs on and metered from the plug to the ground tab i had .654 and .575 so from what i understand (which isnt alot lol) is this telling me my coil is toast?

What plugs? Ignition coil ohm tests are just using the ommeter and the coil itself.

What meter are you using? What range was the meter showing when you tested the secondary coil resistance?

Did you check the meter reading when the meter probes are shorted together?

Tip: 0.654 KILO ohms on the meter is the same as 654 OHMS

plug wires i meant to say sorry for the confusion im using a innova 3320 meter and thanks for the tip.

    That is an auto-ranging multi-meter.
Make sure you always check the range scale when reading the digits.

Ok thanks so much, so from what I gather the resistances are all high? Does that point to a faulty coil?

Electrical testing must be accurate and methodical.
Confirm your test results, consider whether your test results could be misleading you.

    Do not jump to conclusions.

Ok so I held my probes together and it zeroed out every time, I went from the batty negative to the head of the machine and it zeroed, I double checked my readings and I’m confident the resistances is high. Unless I’m missing something else here... I’m gonna order a new coil?
