    Motobatt Battery

    2018 RXTX 300

I'm in the process of moving into a new house and my RXTX was parked in storage since October 2019. I did not disconnect the battery or maintaining it while in storage. So, I know the stock battery will probably need to be replaced before riding this summer. There are two bilge pumps, Seadoo bluetooth speaker and USB w/voltmeter on the ski.

    I'm thinking the Motobatt MBTX20U/HD 12V 21Ah battery.

Is this the best battery for my application and will it fit?

Deka is what most people here recommend for an AGM. You can also buy a dual battery kit from Sea Doo if you want. Lithium batteries are available as well, but it's arguable if it's really worth the money vs AGM.

I know nothing about the Motobatt branded product.

I can recommend the Deka ETX type factory sealed AGM battery. I have used them for years in multiple watercraft. Excellent reputation and reliable.

The genuine Deka battery has a unique terminal post design. Bolts thread directly into the terminal, so no loose nut to lose.

Two bolt holes on each ETX terminal post makes it convenient to separately connect factory wire harness and auxiliary/aftermarket wiring.

Use a 10mm wrench time snug the cable bolts.

Note: Deka ETX batteries are available with positive post on left or right corner. Order the post configuration that best fits your watercraft’s battery cable orientation.

I like and have good success with Renegade Batteries with the Red Top.
