    2012 RXT-X-AS 260 cold air intake/homemade?

I have been looking around and havenít really found much on the forum or Iím just not looking in the right place...... Iím looking to build my own cold air intake or at the very least a much less restrictive path for air to enter the supercharger. Thanks!

Here's a good thread. Kanaflex is the easiest and probably cheapest, put your choice of mesh air filter or velocity stack on the end but I know some tuners that don't love kanaflex. Some people run a rear air simple 4" straight tubing to 90* coupler into supercharger with filter or stack. When the motor goes back into my ski I'm going to try and piece together something with aluminum tubing I'll post some pictures if I come up with anything that works! Also avoid traditional element air filters they clog with water you can get the k&n mesh one (and kanaflex) in the forums online store!

This worked well for me. Also had rear air with the jlewis adapter to grab fresh outside air. Not ideal for playing around though.

Thanks connorrxp and rxpjay. Rxpjay I really like how clean your build looks! What’s the PVC ball valve for? Water inlet for Towing?

If you ever need a tow, you need to stop the water supply that cools the exhaust system or you will flood the engine with water.

Thanks! was a nice clean build with a lot of help from the guys on here. Sold the ski 3 years ago. And, the current owner is now selling it.
    Got me thinking............
