Dual bilge pumps and check valves

Currently have one Sea-Doo bilge pump, can I piggy back off the wires and install a second bilge without overloading the fuse? Also was thinking about installing check valves and removing the the two plastic tubes in the pump nozzle to make adjusting shims on the lucky 13 cone easier.
any feed back would be appreciated

You're supposed to grind the syphon tube nipples flat in the pump. Tubes will still function and l13 won't bind.

How much current draw and what's the fuse rating? Don't get to close to the rating of the fuse or it will fail.
