Is that valid for 2013 ultra ? Or did they not fix that design over the years ?

I'll second the motion about salt environment. I had two '96 ZXIs that were only used in fresh water and never touched the pumps in 8 years. The two Ultra 300LXs are both below 100 hrs and I've had to rebuild both of those pumps (one froze up due to wear ring "growth"). They have been ridden in salt water only and spend the rest of their time on lifts 3-4' above salty water.

Mine has always been in fresh water but 200$ every 100 to 150 hrs isn’t a big deal especially compared to my friends with there seadoo’s that spend more time in the shop then in the water.

They did change the design, but keep an eye on it. Corrosion can take place on any of them. Flushing is a good idea, even in fresh water.

40 Hrs. Puked bearings almost trashed my housing (saved it). Total garbage design in all aspects. I have several posts on this.
