Looking for help identifying this fzr

    Hello friends
I'm looking to become a happy member of the yamaha pwc family. This will also be my first PWC oberall. just found this FZR for sale but can't ID it or it's manufacturing year (the seller should get back to me with this info). If you can help me with iding what is this beast and how is it, I'd be grateful.Click image for larger version.

looks to be about an 08 model. The HIN number should be found on the right rear corner where the pad is

Ok! Will take a look! And how this PWC is if not used for racing but just for general bashing around on the weekends (lake and sea)?

Far from an fzr, this is a older model fx, 07 and below.

I was just about to post the same thing. It's a 2006, 2007 or 2008 FXHO (which were all black) or FX140 painted black.

The mirrors, hood, rear deck and grab bar are the key identifying features.

Didn't need the additional pics. The first set ID it as a 2006-2008 FXHO or painted FX140.

With the decals removed, it's tough to tell the exact year. You need to check the last 2 digits of the hull ID #.

If you do some research, the color of the seats, mirrors and hood might tell you the exact year... assuming, of course, that they are the original parts. But again, the hull ID has the answer.

Also, what's under the seat? What motor is in there?

Indeed dont think it's a FZR... the guy just sent me a picture of the title (it's in Israel so the titles are different to the US) and it sais its 118Kw, which is something like 160 hp....unfortunetly the titles doesnt say what is the HIN or the model

There's no question... definitely NOT an FZR hull.

But the HP on the title doesn't mean much. I have a 2003 FX140 with an HO motor. Another member on this forum dropped a SHO motor into an older FXHO hull. This one might be some sort of conversion ski, an FXHO hull with an FZR motor. You have to see what's under the seat.

I would want to see the motor that will let you know what it is and yea not an fzr
