    98 GS pump seal?

Guys helping a buddy refresh his 98 GS 720 and now motor is running well the pump is getting some love..... new wear ring ordered, new bearings coming, wil get new oil, when pump came off there was some old seal was left on the pump....if looked on the parts diagram and there is no seal to order but it says to use sealant so just wondering why it looks like a seal?

if itís clean off the old and get some sealant on the face for reassembly thatís cool.

shame pumps are soo pricey the stator veins arenít great... but the prop looks much better now and hopefully with a new ring it will pick up some speed

No seal shown but one was on the pump when removed? Does the later model neoprene seal fit?

Seal it with sealant. Clear silicone is what I use.

With silcone sealant, they're a PITA to get back off. I would go with rubber seal shpown on the other models.

Fat bead of plain jane cheap clear silicone. They come back off pretty easy. It's the Right Stuff and RTV that are a PITA.
