Tight steering but only while under power

    Hello all,

My steering is super smooth while idling around but becomes very stiff while under power. I understand that it should stiffen up a bit but this is excessive. Compared it to a 310R and also my RXP and it is way tighter than both of those. I've searched extensively but no one has ever answered what this may be. steering bearing is super smooth and the cable is new. Reverse is also very difficult to engage unless the engine is off. not sure what this one is but if anyone has any ideas please let me know.

    Thanks!

Did you mount the nozzle connection to the steering cable on the correct side of the steering arm? Top or bottom? I assume your talking about your 250X
    Stock nozzle?

The 250x steering is substantially heavier than a 310r due to different steering / exit nozzle sizes.... are your cables are free and routed correctly. Also a rusty cable is harder to turn under load as the inner binds on the outter of the cable...
