    Arctic might be on to something. If not tongue weight, it might have to do with towing a trailer that isn't level.

    I had two tow vehicles... main one was a 2000 Jeep Cherokee and backup was a 2006 Jeep Commander, which sits much higher. I always noticed that the trailers made a lot more noise behind the Commander. I just sold the Cherokee, so I plan to look into a ball mount with a drop to keep the trailers level. Hope that solves the problem or I'll be kicking myself for selling the Cherokee.

    I wanted to let you know that you were right. I did inflate the tires a little over recommendation. The vibration was strong at first but, went away after a few miles. I adjusted the tire pressure to the correct recommendation and the vibration is gone. I guess it was improper inflation and sitting too long. I will jack it up for long periods of time.
