Few Q's about the ET-135 Wheel...

Hi folks, currently running Riva Stage 2+ and thinking about trying an ET135 wheel in my RXP 300, just got a few questions regarding installing it.

From what I've read it seems most people just bolt the wheel in and go ? Has anyone had any issues with the charger being unbalanced? Or has anyone found a turbo rebuilder that can spin these chargers up to check the balance with the new wheel?

I'm assuming if I order the wheel I would also require some kind of new nuts/washers etc for installing ?

And lastly would there be any changes to the fuel system to support the bigger wheel? I already have VT1100 injectors as part of the Stage2+ setup.

    Cheers

If you don't have too many hours on your supercharger you will not have any problems with that wheel. Just set your slip moment of the clutch to 16 foot lbs. You don't need to balance that wheel since it is already balanced. If your supercharger have more than 100 hours you can consider to buy new bearings and clutch from easyrider that sell those parts individually. Then your VT1100 works fine with that wheel.

Your tune will have to be adjusted to account for more boost throughout the RPM range.

I would not touch bearings on these chargers, chances are you'll do more harm than good by replacing them. 100 hours is nothing, I have more than that running et135 wheel alone, the ACE charger bearings are much better than 4tec.

Ski only has about 13hrs on it so bearings wont be an issue. I just wondered if I need to replace the wheel retaining nut or the 2 nuts to set the clutch slip? Or can i just re-use the existing nuts ?

I'll be changing to the Riva Stage 3 8800 VT11 tune to suit the bigger wheel

Recheck your slip after about 10hrs, sometimes they back off alittle.
