    Maptuner cable wiring

    Hi there.

Hoping this is the right section to post

    I have a maptuner 1 (not x), however I do t have the cable.

I do have buds, which has a db9 (rs232) cable.

Rather than purchase a new cable for the maptuner, I’m intending to use a convertor for my existing buds Cable

My question is, can anyone help me with the wiring schematic for a Maptuner 1 Seadoo cable to ensure I get the Convertor correct please?

    Cheers

    Dave

I don't have buds but here's how the original cable pins are mapped.

Left side is the diagnostic port end (tuner cable end not actual port on the ski) and right side is RJ45 as looking at them from the front.

I'm looking for MaptunerX HDMI -> Diagnostic Port pinout if anyone feels like mapping those for me using a multimeter

    Hello mate.

Thanks for taking the time to reply to my thread asking for the pinout info for the maptuner v1 seadoo cable.

Ive made the cable based on the schematic you provided, but just wanted to confirm ive got it right. Im having difficulty getting the maptuner to communicate with my ski.

Ive followed the wiring diagram that you sent. Is it possible you are able to confirm if this is the correct pinout?. Ive checked the cable a few times but still not having any luck.

Thanks mate. Found a dirty PIN in the connector on the ski. All cleaned up and working a treat. Thanks for your help.
