    PTO, Stator cover paint

Hi, I just picked up a great 300 PTO stator cover with a perfectly working stator and oil pump looks great though I will replace the rotary seal between impeller and oil pump.

Not sure if it was ran open loop but there is some surface pain chip around the impeller area and the exterior of the cover. I am guessing that the red is primer and then painted black.

Is the painted surface withing the closed loop impeller space a special paint?
The exterior appears to be of the same type of paint method, red under neat the black.

Paint looks bad cause its an old ass cover that someone did a 300 conversion on. Not off a 300.

Yes I can see that some aluminum was welded on and machined down to fit the 300 supercharger. Everything is really nice though, clean oil pump, rotor. Supercharger fits nice and snug. I can easily wire brush it a little and paint it all.

Has anyone ran the 300 superchargers on these upgrades with good success?
I heard that the 300 superchargers create boost earlier on the RPM band then the older superchargers. Are the riva tunes capable of tuning these 300 wheels?

Does anyone know what type of paint or coating methods are used within/around the water impeller surface areas..? The typical smooth black painted areas where the coolant flows around on it?
